General Class Information
- Class sessions are 9 weeks long.
- Cost for classes is $125, ask about our discount for rescue dogs.
- Sessions may be extended or makeup classes may be held because of classes missed during poor weather conditions.
- For safety reasons, a slip or martingale type collar is required for all dogs. (we have nearly had dogs slip flat collars during training class, and we do train near a street).
- We also recommend a 6' leather leash (1/2" for large dogs and 1/4" for small dogs).
- Please consider both your comfort and your ability to control your dog when selecting your footwear (if you have a large or active dog , stable shoes can be very helpful).
- S.T.A.R. Puppy and Basic Obedience Only: Please leave your dog home for orientation night. Our main focus is training YOU to train your dog and the first class we will be reviewing equipment, toys, treats, commands and language you will hear in class and what it means along with practicing footwork. Make sure you bring your collar and leash, vet records, paperwork and a chair.
- Bordetella is REQUIRED on all dogs in class.
